  [2013 03 15] LUCTUS new album “Stotis” and European tour!
The time has come to announce that our new studio album is now officially complete! The recording of this album – like that of the previous one, “Jau?iant Pabaig? Arti” (“Sensing that the End is Nigh”) – took place in the already familiar “Phoenix” studio in Riga, under the supervision of the sound shaman Gints Lundberg. The instruments were recorded during February, while editing and mastering were completed during February-March.

We have already previously announced that our new opus will be called “Stotis” (“The Station”), and will consist of seven tracks:

II. Audra slenka virđ miesto (“A Storm is Creeping Over the City”)
III. Mano kumđtis (“My Fist”)

VI. Stotis (“The Station”)
VII. Pakaruokliđka vienatve (“A Hanged Man’s Solitude”)

The new album is not a concept one – unlike our previous work, “Jau?iant Pabaig? Arti”, here each track is a separate rite, a separate experience. The term “Station” archetypically defines the essence of all songs – it marks a journey to all directions: the subconscious, death, and twists of life.

Kommander Lu. – about the themes and the title of the new album: “This word is of great meaning and significance– I would even say, a magic charge - to me. This is a very simple everyday term that defines a very concrete object, but at the same time – if you look deeper – this word acquires new meanings in various contexts. This is the station from which you start a journey to various dimensions –simple stops, the subconscious, and death. A station may mean something like a concentration in one point/state – with various directions, but still with a definition of the self in this concrete field.”

Certain changes related to the release and promotion of the album took place while the recording session was still underway. By the initiative of the band and by the agreement with the head of “Ledo Takas Records” Tadas, a decision was made to entrust the release and promotion of the album to the company “Inferna Profundus Records”. The album will be released in the form of a digipak, and will be designed by a well-known professional Rosvaldas Serapinas. “Inferna Profundus Records” is also planning on releasing T-shirts and other album-related merchandize. The album will be available for purchase in April.

In addition to that, LUCTUS reached an agreement with a Dutch booking agency “Snook bookings” (http://snookbookings.com), which from now on together with “Inferna Profundus Records” will be organizing the band’s concerts in Lithuania and abroad.
On April 13, the band is organizing an exclusive presentation of the album – in “Fluxus Ministerija” in Kaunas city. In this presentation ceremony, LUCTUS will be joined by the Lithuanian black metal monsters NAHASH (who have not given concerts for quite some time), an Estonian atmospheric black metal band THOU SHELL OF DEATH, a band from Kaunas AMŢIUS (who also rarely give live shows), and a young, energetic, and promising death metal band CRYPTS OF DESPAIR. Other details of the album presentation concert will follow shortly.
After this show, LUCTUS is going to depart on a two-week European tour with the finishing concert in Vilnius on May 11.

After three years of silence and destruction the F.O.A.D. death-machine is back with a new chapter of Lithuanian madness - "Sociopathic Regression". As all previous releases all the music and the lyrics were composed by the only project’s mind Kommander L. The novelty compared to previous works is that this time the drum machine was replaced by a drummer of flesh and bones. The well-known Italian drummer Thorns [already active in acts like Deathrow, Glorior Belli, Kult, Frostmoon Eclipse, Macabre Omen, Benighted in Sodom etc.] has given its devastating contribution to the new F.O.A.D. creation. The album was recorded in Italian “Avdio Division” studio in Rome and now it’s in the process of mastering which will be done in Lithuania by Vytautas Stankus (Nahash) at “Ophis” studio. The entire album was recorded with only analog equipment. This is to get a raw and obscure sound and to get away from the avalanche of black metal discs recorded with a miserable computer. Conceptually, the new release as well as being an insane (over)dose of self destruction will be a curse to the human race and to the politically correct society - a regression to a primordial state of uncontrolled hate, love, alcohol and ultraviolence. "Sociopathic Regression" will contain 17 tracks (of which one will be the cover of the Swedish band Silencer) for approximately 50 minutes of disgust & perdition.

After a long time maturing in the mind of the artist and developing in the studio, Haeiresis finally presents its audience with a debut full-length album. The recording and creative processes followed various transformations, so as a result the sound is eclectic and richly layered with various styles of metal music.

Haeiresis have fabricated a sound that's immediately familiar while still being startlingly original. Speaking of the familiarities, there is a touch of Emperor as well as the distorted, dissonant guitar riffs inspired by The Axis of Perdition becoming entwined, and at times it is even reminiscent of Blut Aus Nord during their avantgarde black metal period.

Haeiresis has been incorporating progressive metal elements that help to create a biotic contrast with the more intense parts of the album. The album is ushered through its tranquil periods by an industrial/ambient undercurrent that fuses the tracks into an unrelenting flow.

Haeiresis owes a debt of many thanks to figures such as Namira (ex-Flames of Arborea) and Brooke Johnson (The Axis of Perdition, Mine[thorn], Hesper Payne, etc...) for their support and creative input.

“Transparent Vibrant Shadows” is like a free conceptual work, seeking rather to instill a specific mood and stimulate the imagination than to tell a particular story. This work is a logical progression from Haeiresis split album with ambient/experimental project Seagull Overseas of Vilnius. This is like a surreal stroll through the dark and foreboding hallways of an abandoned asylum, with the listener left free to perceive and imagine what awaits there. [Better take a flashlight - Ed]

JUDAS ISCARIOT - already defunct one-man black metal project, established in USA and existed between 1992-2003. During that time the project’s ideological leader Akhenaten (real nm. Andrew Jay Harris) released 6 full length albums and gained recognition in underground scene. Harsh, dismal, nihilistic and anti-christian ideas which breath in JUDAS ISCARIOT music attained much attention among extreme music fans and the band itself became one of the black metal scene banner-bearers. “The Cold Earth Slept Below…” - first full length album, released in CD format in 1996 under the “Moribund Records” flag. Album was never officially released in vinyl format and since then a non-official “bootleg” version of 100 pieces existed.

One week since Svartthron's „Kraujo Estetika“ release, but Siauliai Black Metal forge Inferna Profundus Records is restless and has some more news for the extreme music maniacs. This time the label presents the new re-release of NAHASH „Wellone Aeternitas“ and continues the resurrection of band's best creations for the second life ( „Nocticula Hecate“ demo was re-released in 2007)

„Wellone Aeternitas“ - the first NAHASH full lenght album was first released in 1997 by French label „Drakkar Productions“. The album contains four compositions, which breathe with frost and darkness, filled with mysticism and supernaturality and have all the strongest features of occult Black Metal. Album was bought up in a very short time, when it first was released, so today „Wellone Aeternitas“ can be reputated as collector's rarity.

In collaboration with Inferna Profundus Records NAHASH decided to please all their fans, so since tommorow this masterpiece, which took the new shape is available for all who want to purchase it. The new re-release of „Wellone Aeternitas“ will have new sound quality: all sound re-mastering works were done by band leader Vytas ( Xe Xe Chax Heyatha Zhaiyrhous) at own „Ophis“ studio. Album listeners will also find never published „bonus“ song in the album, which was recorded in 1995 during „Wellone Aeternitas“ record session.

Album is released as CD with 8 page booklet. Artwork remained the same as original, so that it could reflect the spirit of the release, however the cd design has one nice feature – the playable side of the disk, made in non-traditional way will have visible occult symbols.

  [2010 01 18] SVARTTHRON "Kraujo Estetika" out now!
2010 January 18th - Inferna Profundus Records presents the first black metal album in Lithuania this year. Visual result of CD was generated in collaboration with www.badger.lt. They gave a 12 page booklet with the fragments from the lyrics and repulsive imagery to mutual esthetics yet such imagery was essential to general album conception. “Kraujo Estetika” is the fourth official album since 2005, when Lithuanian project SVARTTHRON was born. The line up for this album is exclusively Lithuanian: vocals are done by Levas (ANDAJA) and drums by [k] (ARGHARUS). Last mentioned where recorded live for the first time in project history. Everything else guitars, bass and composition where the concern of the project leader. The final result is strong and varied Lithuanian black metal album bonded together by one theme – blood. Songs in “Kraujo Estetika” are similar to individual paintings, where through visions and suffering come knowing and understanding and this leads to total beast triumph. Album songs all sound as different music formations: depressive, dark, plangent guitar melodies are combined with slashing drumming and aggressive outbursts. All musical painting is complemented by vocals, which at one point sound as strangulated as butchered beast, at other this beast attacks infuriately, imperiously and scornfully. One song has guest for vocals, Kommander L. (LUCTUS) from Lithuanian division stationed in Italy. He flavoured the album with another varied attitude to the main theme and different sound. This album isn’t just a wallow with sounds and consonances, it’s a philosophic discourse to the core of the human being, consideration of human-beast, led by his own frailty and hesitancy and outer factors such as religion implication to him in life or death.

  [2009 11 16] New SVARTTHRON album will be released next year
After releasing his „Bearer of the Crimson Flame“ last summer, SVARTTHRON didn‘t tumble into stagnation, but almost all year long nursed his new creation. The main founder of the band Tomhet made some essential changes in process of the band and invited some musicians known from other bands to join the new creation stage. New album will be called „Kraujo Estetika“ (transl. Blood Aesthetics) in which vocals are done by Levas (ANDAJA). At the very beginning it was clear, that there will be no programed drums in this release, so the seek for the live drummer who would like to colaborate with the album began. The search didn‘t went too long and drummer [k] (ARGHARUS) took the drum duties. Drum recordings were done in „Unitedzeros“ studio. Furthermore the album „speaks“ lithuanian – all lyrics are done exceptionaly in Lithuanian language. Tomhet didn‘t limit himself only to these changes and invited Kommander L (LUCTUS, FUCK OFF AND DIE!) to do some vocal parts in the album. It can be said that all the variations brought in novelty and freshness. Different sound and variety are guaranteed.
Despite all the member changes SVARTTHRON will remain a non-concert band.

  [2009 06 05] ARGHARUS "Pleiđtas" out now!!!
June 6th is the official release date of ARGHARUS album “Pleiđtas”. Inferna Profundus is taking orders starting from today and instigates people who are interested in ordering this creation to order it before festival “Kilkim Ţaibu X”, because ARGHARUS on June 12th will perform the bigger part of the album live.

Besides that, the titular track of ARGHARUS album will be included in British metal edition“Terrorizer” July month compilation CD, which is included with every magazine copy. Some sentences will also be written about the band in the magazine and the titular song of the album “Pleiđtas” will go alongside such metal grands as 1349, Obituary, Testament, Code and many others. “Terrorizer” is distributed worldwide, and the edition of the magazine is more than 14,000 copies.

  [2009 05 18] ARGHARUS “Pleiđtas“ CD out on 2009/06/06
“Pleiđtas”, the first album of Điauliai black metal band ARGHARUS, will come out on June 6th this year. The album will be released in 6 panel DIGI format under Inferna Profundus Records flag.
After quite enough time since LUCTUS and ARGHARUS split release, the band has taken a rather different direction, and to its listeners introduces a musical creation of a new concept. The music as well as the idea has significantly changed, what can surprise the constant fans of the band or become a new discovery. The former creation, compared to the latter work, seems like a youthful play, folded by hardly perceived ideas. „Pleiđtas“ is a new path of the band and a reached musical conception, which was not built, but born naturally, in the process of intense work of searching and creating in studio. Destruction or escape from the preceding has not been a purposeful aim. All turned out naturally, as a result of a process, probably familiar to majority of bands.
The album consists of 8 creations, nurtured for more than a year during rehearsals. Album recording has been executed in Điauliai studio UNITEDZEROS. Although the studio was not considered seriously at first, the final result, however, surprised and did not disappoint. The quality of the album recording should satisfy even the most sharp-eared listeners.
Album design was trusted to Badger Art studio, which exhibited interesting solutions and created design, specifically answering the band’s new concept.
ARGHARUS has no plans for album presentation concerts, the only unique performance will occur at “Kilkim ţaibu” open-air.

  [2009 03 09] POCCOLUS „Ragana“ to be released
The newest Inferna Profundus release is “Ragana”, the album of legendary POCCOLUS. It will be a synthesis of a demo recording of 1994 and some creation, which was never recorded in studio – the re-released album will include two POCCOLUS’ pieces that were performed in Latvian Black Friday concert in 1997.
Album re-mastering tasks have been done by POCCOLUS leader Munis. “Ragana” appears in a classical format with a 12 page booklet.

  [2008 04 21] IPR will release SLAGMAUR "Domfeldt" digi CD
Domfeldt the original demo from Norwegian black metallers SLAGMAUR, is to be re-released in digipack format by Inferna Profundus Records in co-operation with Nocturnal Woodlands Productions during the summer. The re-release has been licensed to the label by Nekk Brekk Productions, Slagmaur's own label, after the band kept receiving requests for the now hard-to find original. The digipack version will have completely new artwork, once again created by Norwegian artist Robert H¸yem, and the guest track from Aptorian Demon, that featured on the original version, will be replaced by a Slagmaur track that was left off the first recording, and that has never been heard before. A completely new track, written by Lt. Wardr especially for the release will also be included.

The vinyl edition of Skrekk Lich Kunstler will be released later this year on the Lux Infernum label. With a gatefold cover, it is anticipated that the vinyl version will be a very limited collectors edition, although no details are available at this time.

The band has started work on their next release Von Rov Shelter which should be ready late 2008, early 2009, and a label is currently being sought. At the same time, Slagmaur's creator General Gribbsphiiser, together with vocalist Aatselgribb are working on a new release from TRAGEDIENS TRONE.
